We all have our own walk of life, but what we share is our need to replenish our Spirit, Mind, and Heart with the abundance of what Nature lovingly has to offer us. There are so many beautiful and wonderful things to learn from Nature, but life can be busy and comes with challenges. It comes down to the little things of adding that light and nurture into our life that can give us the empowerment to get back on track with our wellbeing and awareness. With each moment we use to welcome that, we can bring in an experience connecting and creating that space for a relationship toward the self and a new found relationship with Nature.
It is such an honor to be a Native Arizonan. I am proud to say that I was born and raised in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. As a child, I grew up learning what herbs and foods to have in the home from my Nana and family upbringing. Passing on traditional knowledge and sharing the experiences of my childhood to my own family is very important. Education and learning is key the foundation of family and community.
For 17 years, I had been teaching classes of mathematics to children, teachers and parents. I have also written articles that offered venues for people in finding patterns in Nature as a bridge to appreciate the connection between Mathematics and Nature. My love for teaching has then crossed over, during the years, in teaching adults on topics of Aromatherapy, Plants and Nature, and Sustainable Practices within our own day to day life.
I am a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist through the Aromahead Institute, a Certified Reiki Practitioner through The Center for Advanced Energy Therapeutics, a Certified Herbalist through the Herbal Wisdom Institute, and a Certified Educator of Mathematics and Professional Development.
The ultimate goal of Sacred Reminders is to offer resources, classes, and products that are simple, inspiring, and natural. What we consume and purchase has a direct effect on Nature and available resources for future generations. That is why the approach I use to teach my classes, on the whole spectrum of the plant world, is so important and sacred to me and my family. From understanding when to incorporate a more whole plant approach, to using dried herbs, or fresh herbs in teas and baths, to hydrosols, infused oils, and essential oils, this makes us more informed and responsible participants in our own wellbeing.
Your relationship toward your wellness essentially becomes your sacred place and practice. My role is to inspire, remind, educate, and be a resource to you in understanding how Sacred you are and your connection with Nature. Maintaining the balance of relationship with yourself and with Nature creates the foundation for sustainability.
Many Blessings to You,
