Many of us have been wanting to establish a more sustainable home and with that means making our own products for home use. With the winter months and dry summers, sometimes our lips are the first parts of our body that need protection from the elements.
This class goes through each step of planning, getting to know your essential oils, carrier oils, and butters even before you begin making your own lip balms. This also covers knowing your resources in getting supplies and knowing how to sanitize your jars, tins, or lip balm tubes. This is also for the person who has been making their own products for home use and wants to learn more, or you are interested in making your own products for personal use for the very first time.
Topics covered in the class include:
- Essential Oils
- Carrier Oils
- Herb-Infused Oils
- Sanitizing and Prepping Containers
- Materials/Supplies for Making Lip Balms
- How to Set Up Your Area for Blending
- Lip Balm Blends
- How to Store Your Blends
